Drayton House is a lively, friendly home providing 24/7 residential care for older people who require personal support with everyday tasks, enabling them to live with confidence, independence and dignity.

The Home is family owned and as such has a homely, welcoming atmosphere where companionship and respect among both residents and staff is openly encouraged.

Drayton House is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to provide personal care for nineteen older people including up to four with dementia.

There are 16 fully furnished and immaculately presented bedrooms, four of which are available for shared occupancy, ideal for married couples and close friends who may prefer to stay together as in their own home.

As well as private rooms there are communal lounge and dining areas where residents can relax, socialise and in the case of the dining areas-enjoy a wide choice of nutritious, home cooked food, including specialist diets. There are also well kept garden and patio seating areas to the rear and side of the home that residents can use on nice days.

A wide range of stimulating activities are regularly provided in the home for residents to join in should they so wish.

Residents personal rooms are fully serviced and cleaned on a daily basis and include TV aerial and telephone points as well as a fast response call system, temperature controlled water and central heating. The home has recently undergone refurbishment adding further to the comfort of our residents. Many of the bedrooms have full en suite facilities and all have hand wash basin facilities.

The home allows residents to customise their rooms with their own belongings to create an even more homely environment and small items of furniture can also be bought in with the consent of the homes manager.

All rooms are suitable for wheelchair and frame users as a passenger lift provides equivalent level access to all rooms. This means that residents may retain the option of staying in the room of their choice, safe in the knowledge that they will be able to enjoy freedom of mobility throughout.
